GOLD for monta

monta has been awarded the gold medal for sustainability by international rating platform EcoVadis. We are now positioned in the top 5% of all rated companies across all sectors. Within the industry sector “manufacture of plastic products”, monta even ranks among the top 2% of all companies.

The EcoVadis rating considers the four topics Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement. Our performance in each field significantly exceeds the industry average and shows strong improvement for Labor & Human Rights as well as Sustainable Procurement.

With a total score of 73 points, monta was able to raise its performance from last year by five points. Compared to our first assessment, we improved by 19 points, proving our continuous advancement. As a result, after having earned the EcoVadis silver medal three consecutive times, monta now proudly holds the gold medal.

Sustainability has been deeply implemented in monta’s corporate policy for many years now. Since 1996, our environmental management system has been ISO 14001 certified, and our energy management system has been ISO 50001 certified since 2015.
