Paper-based carriers, featuring a high biobased content, are an alternative to conventional, plastic-based film. Due to their specific saturation, they are moisture- and weather-proof. monta uses silicone free paper carriers weighing 60 g/sqm. The ECF (elementary chlorine free) bleached pulp is from sustainable forestry.

We coat this carrier with natural rubber adhesive, which mostly contains renewable raw materials and is made by monta in Germany. Thus, we manufacture reliable paper tapes with an overall content of 65% of renewable raw materials (based on dry weight), available in brown and white. They can be recycled together with the carton.

monta’s self-adhesive paper tapes are perfect for sealing light to medium heavy cartons. Their low noise and smooth unwinding properties make them a pleasant choice when ergonomic working conditions are a priority. They can also be used on packing machines and are an alternative to water-activated tapes, avoiding investments and immobile packing stations. Our paper tapes are also hand-tearable.
