Due to their structure and chemical composition, packing tapes can only be stored temporarily. Especially very high temperatures during the summer and sub-zero temperatures in winter affect the product properties – even when stored in a closed carton. As a consequence of improper storage, the tape rolls may deform and their adhesive properties may change, with the adhesive becoming brittle or flaky.

To preserve the initial product properties and ensure the best application, make sure to store monta adhesive tapes as follows:
- in original packaging
- dry conditions
- protected from light
- at a temperature range between 15°C and 25°C

When stored as outlined above, monta adhesive tapes have a shelf-life of 12 months from date of delivery.
