Their backing is a comparably thin yet strong rPET film consisting of 90% post-consumer PET recyclate. Unlike bottles from closed deposit return schemes, it originates from disposed of PET bottles that are collected intentionally for the production of the recyclate. Apart from giving bottles a new life, this effectively prevents the release of micro-plastics in the environment.
Thanks to their recycled film, monta rPET tapes qualify for exemption from the EU plastic tax, imposed by some member states.
monta rPET is an ideal choice for sealing medium-heavy cartons. Its efficient natural rubber adhesive offers excellent immediate tack and adhesive strength, thereby forming a durable bond with the carton, even with just one layer of tape and on testliners with high recycled content. monta rPET tapes are suitable for transportation routes with challenging climate conditions.
Thanks to their resource-efficient product design, monta rPET tapes offer up to 100% extra tape per roll. This reduces roll changes and packaging material, while making the best use of valuable cargo space.
